3D Areola (Nipple)
Re-Pigmentation
Nipple and areola reconstruction can help a breast cancer survivor feel more comfortable and can help improve the appearance of both women and men
who have undergone breast surgery. Some clients find they are content
without having a nipple at all, while others choose a form of reconstruction
that does not require surgery.
The 3D effect of areola pigmentation is a popular choice. The advanced
micropigmentation techniques that I use involve shadowing, highlighting,
feathering, and contouring. I can create a very realistic 3D nipple and areola
for you that suits your skin tone and breasts, producing a very natural looking result.
I also offer treatments that enhance the breast and create a natural-looking
areola and nipple complex, following breast reduction and uplift surgeries,
gynecomastia surgery and pre and post gender reassignment procedures.
A restorative medical tattoo can have a huge impact on your life. My goal is to
be able to help you to look happily in the mirror again and enable you
to move forward with your life.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens at the appointment?
Areola tattooing typically takes 3 sessions and your appointments may take up to 2.5 hours. I will skilfully infuse the colour into your skin while carefully tracing over the pre-drawn template that you’ve chosen.
Will It Hurt?
I want you to be completely comfortable during the treatment. If you still have sensation following your surgery, I will make sure numbing agents are applied and continually check how you’re feeling. My clients usually describe the discomfort as no more than 3 out of 10.
What Happens During The Consultation?
We’ll chat through exactly what you’ would like the end result to be. This will include looking at your areola shape, size, placement and colourings. I will then ‘pre-draw’ the areola and nipple complex using temporary markers and perfectly match the pigment shades to your skin. This is to make sure the correct style and colours are chosen and the finished result is as natural as possible.
What is the recovery time?
You will be able to go straight back to work following the treatment should you wish. Typically the area around your treatment may be slightly red for 36 hours and I will apply a sterile dressing, which you wear under your clothes for up to 5 days. I will also provide you with aftercare products and aftercare instructions.
