How does Scalp Micro-Pigmentation work? The positive impacts..
The technique works by creating a natural-looking simulation of micro-hairs, by replicating a short hair growing from the follicle.
Tiny micro-points of pigment are skilfully infused into the skin to create a shadow of colour that mimics the density of natural hair growth.
A tattoo is permanent and goes 3ml deep into the skin, whereas
Semi Micropigmentation is semi-permanent and only goes 1.5ml deep.

What happens at the appointment?
Each treatment session takes about 1 hour and typically multiple sessions are required, especially for larger areas.
I will skilfully infuse a series of micro-points of pigment into the skin which produce the look of short hairs - they'll carefully pay attention to the follicular hair size and the density of the natural hair growth.
Will It Hurt?
I want you to be completely comfortable during the treatment. If you still have sensation following your surgery, I will make sure numbing agents are applied and continually check how you’re feeling. My clients usually describe the discomfort as no more than 3 out of 10.
What Happens During The Consultation?
I will take time to discuss your requirements, assess your hair-growth needs and blend a variety of 'prescriptive' shades to guarantee consistent replication of your natural hair colourings. I will advise you of the number of sessions I expect your treatment to take and fully explain the procedure. I will make sure you are completely happy with the proposed treatment before proceeding.
What is the recovery time?
You will be able to go straight back to work following the treatment should you wish. Typically the area around your treatment may be slightly red but that should be the only after-effect.
